Whitefield Horticultural Society presents two shows each year.

The Summer Show, usually on the first Saturday in September, and the November Show, likewise, on the first Saturday in that month. The shows have a true vintage feel to them, particularly being hosted in the Oasis Centre at Whitefield’s Methodist Church on Elms Street.

Showcases for local gardening, baking and crafting talent

You can be part of it too!

The shows include classes for various blooms and vegetables and classes for art, handicrafts, cookery, digital photography (Nov only) and for children. Prizes and trophies are awarded to winning entries. Non-members are welcome to exhibit in any of the classes. Entry fees are 20p per exhibit.

Entries can be brought to the hall on the Friday evening between 7.30pm – 9.00pm or the Saturday morning between 8.30am – 11.30am.

The shows normally open to the public from 2pm, with the Mayor presenting the prizes at 3.45pm.
